I heart this wall of clouds. This image is from design*sponge’s sneak peek of New York floral designer Nicolette Owen. Go take a look at the rest of her gorgeous home on design*sponge and then come back and let’s talk about this wall o’ clouds.
Her entire home is fabulous, isn’t it? But my absolute favorite was the wall of clouds.
I like it for so many reasons. It’s pretty, of course. Each individual photo is pretty alone – but then when you put them all together like that you get colors and tones that mix and match in a whole new way. And also, it could be a scrapbook of sorts … I would remember where I was when I took each of those shots (even though in her photos you don’t see anything but the clouds). Another wonderful thing about that wall of photos is they are all small prints. You could take pictures with a bottom-of-the-line point-and-shoot (or even your iPhone) and get good looking 4×6 prints.
Wonder what my wall of photos would be?

This is really cool, I love her clouds and such a great idea, I’m going to head across to see her whole house but this really caught my eye. So simple but effective – so do you think you might do something similar?
Jac: Thanks for visiting. I really would love to do something similar, I have been thinking about what my subject would be and where I would put them. I haven’t decided yet, but if I do, I will definitely take pictures and post them!
